The weatherman growled and this time we actually got bit. We woke up to a good 1/4 inch dusting of snow (my Yankee/Canadian readers will laugh hysterically over this — school is delayed 2 hours because of it!!).

The Skimpy cat tried desperately to walk half an inch above it (he failed. But it was funny to watch!). Lucy wanted to go roll in it and eat it. Daisy refuses to get out of bed. Even the fish are hiding.

There’s no way I’d go out today, but my van is supposedly ready so I have to go and sort all of that, and go to the chiropractor. Wish I didn’t have to.

Please be praying for me – after ten days of fighting off the cold that Ken had – mostly successfully – last night I started coughing (more like “barking like a seal”) – a deep, deep chest cough. We don’t see our new doc til next Tuesday, so hopefully I can fight it back off and not need treatment for it!

I’m glad I finally broke down and bought a new Bible. I guess all people are particular about some things – I’m particular about my Bible and my coffee. I don’t care if there’s half an inch of dog hair on everything, am not fussy about clothing or my hair, don’t bother with makeup 95% of the time, and am just a generally laid back person. But my Bible and my coffee… mmmm. Got to have the Right Stuff.

Loved the story about the cat. We live in Oklahoma and when we have a snow it shuts down the entire state. My niece in New York just laughs at us. Enjoy your coffee & especially your Bible. Don’t know how people can get through the day without reading God’s Word. Have a blessed week!

We just got a new cat (No. 7) and we’re expecting a bit of snow on Sunday (already snowed once this autumn – almost unheard of here in London). Should be interesting as she’s only just started going out. At the very least, it might distract her from beating up all the others – she’s a feisty little thing!
