A lot of prophetic people, and their websites, are one of two things – they’re either spooky, or they’re arrogant. I don’t think most folks set out to be either, but let’s face it – hearing directly from God is an awesome thing that sometimes even seems spooky to the one hearing, and will either make you very humble, or very proud.

Coupled with that, a lot of information about the prophetic is sadly distorted. Although some is clearly unbiblical (which is different from extrabiblical), much of the time the emphasis seems to be in the wrong place.

This morning one link led to another, and I found a great prophetic site: http://propheticreformation.com

Humble? Yes. Scriptural? Yes. Spooky? Not a bit. On each page, look to the upper right for a list of articles connected to that topic (the “Shiloh” topic is particularly interesting!). Some are quite short, others are very detailed.

One thing I found interesting is that although the author is of the Reformed persuasion (he’s a member of New Frontiers, founded by Terry Virgo; and cites Piper, Driscoll, and some other Reformed folks), the issue is not belabored. In fact, I only found out he’s charismatic/reformed because I googled New Frontiers (just glanced around the site, really) and from there found an interview Adrian Warnock did with TV where they talk about it.

Anyway, regardless of your theological persuasions, Prophetic Reformation is a great site. There’s also a blog with it: http://propheticreformation.com/P-Blog/index.htm

Enjoy!

I’ve got a lot of time for New Frontiers, although I don’t agree with them on everything; my ‘mentor’ Nick is NFI, and Adrian Warnock is a thoroughly nice chap, very kind to me when I first left Paganism. Unfortunately I missed Driscoll when he was over at Adrian’s church in the summer. I’ll have a poke around that site.

I'm a laid-down lover of Jesus Christ. I write about my King and His Kingdom, the Bible, revival, healing, prophecy, faith, and more... plus I throw in recipes, tips, news and politics items, reviews, and all sorts of random things just for fun. Until recently, I was known as "Kathi"... but my name is now Kay. It's a good, God thing... :) The opinions expressed in this blog are mine and mine only - not necessarily shared by my husband, our church, my employers, or anyone else.
