As everyone knows, we’re in the process of trying to sell our house. So I ran across this site with 101 Home Selling and Staging Tips for energized home sellers. Interesting ideas!

They’re also having a pet pictures contest – submit a “scary” picture of your pet and you could win $500 in the form of a Lowes or Home Depot gift card! We could really use that right now – it would buy a lot of subfloor!!

I think I’ll submit this one of Daisy. Scared, not scary!!  Isn’t she pitiful?  BTW, this isn’t from our recent snowfall – it was taken last year or the year before. This year, Daisy was resigned – she trotted out and trotted back in and then spent the next ten hours shivering under the comforter on my bed!

Energized Seller is a neat site – it’s basically a forum where sellers and staging pros talk about how to set up your house to sell the fastest. We’ve been to look at several homes – one of which was partially staged – there was art on the walls, pretty towels in the bathrooms, and so on. I can tell you it does make a difference! But they answer more than staging questions – one popular (and I’m sure, enduring) question is whether to replace carpet with laminate flooring (I say, YES!!)

Aw Daisy-Dog! Watching out for her Dad?

One of my feral kittens is now very VERY friendly (especially in the middle of the night – sigh), and the other is chilling out and living wild in the garden; that one will be harder to tame but we’ll get there. The indoor one (Greeblet) is definitely a boy; unsure about the other (Horlicks).

“Horlicks”" hahahaha – thats an adorable name :)

It’s because it is mostly white with these matte grey-beige blotches. Greeblet is normal stripy tabby and white.
