Morningstar tomorrow night?

Well – we’re again faced with a friday night with a rather uncertain weather forecast.

AT THIS MOMENT we plan to go to Morningstar tomorrow night – leaving New Day in High Point @ 4pm. We will carpool as usual, and stop for a burger along the way.

ABOUT THE WEATHER: It will be rainy and cold, but temps between here and Charlotte are forecast to hover just above the freezing mark. Given that it’s all highway driving and it will be well-salted, we feel pretty safe in going.

There is always the chance that the weather will do something unpredictable, so we’re going to go prepared to grab a hotel room (quite possibly there @ Morningstar) and double or even triple up if we need to. I don’t think that will be necessary, or we would cancel altogether – that’s just the backup plan.

We’ll make the call at about 1pm tomorrow; if the forecast changes to be frozen precip we’ll cancel altogether.
