I don’t read a lot of fiction. When I do, I like LOTR/Narnia style books, drama, and detective stories. When the publisher offered me a review copy of The Malacca Conspiracy, I was thinking, “Not my style of book – but it does sound interesting…ah, sure, we’ll try it.”

After the first two pages, I really wanted to put it down. I pressed on. After the next two pages, I COULDN’T put it down… literally. Once I engaged with the story line, I was hooked. GREAT book.

The Malacca Conspiracy is the story of a terrorist plot to create an Islamic State in Indonesia. The story weaves through oil tankers, military personnel, assassinations, nuclear weapons, and even attacks here in the United States. Several characters are Christians and the author does a good job of making faith “real” and very natural in their lives.

Sad to say but islamic terrorism as a plot is amazingly (and terrifyingly) plausible in these troubled times we live in.

Kay Sharpe

I'm a laid-down lover of Jesus Christ. I write about my King and His Kingdom, the Bible, revival, healing, prophecy, faith, and more... plus I throw in recipes, tips, news and politics items, reviews, and all sorts of random things just for fun. Until recently, I was known as "Kathi"... but my name is now Kay. It's a good, God thing... :) The opinions expressed in this blog are mine and mine only - not necessarily shared by my husband, our church, my employers, or anyone else.
