NKJV is undoubtedly my favorite translation, but I also study from the NASB and AMP translations, the Message paraphrase, and the Hebrew and Greek.

My two favorite online Bible study tools are http://bible.crosswalk.com and http://blueletterbible.com.  The tools at http://preceptaustin.org are also a great resource, but be warned that many commentaries are cessationist and/or anti-Kingdom, so read with caution.
